All about that design life

Hello! 

My name is Ovetta Sampson and I solve problems. 

My motto as a designer is simple:

“To amplify the beauty of humanity with design while avoiding practices that exploit its fragility.”

I RESEARCH  history, people, organizations, and tools to understand humans and how they interact with the world.

I LISTEN to people, customers, workers, execs, analysts, CEOs and janitors (my favorite).

I TRANSLATE quantitative and qualitative data into human-centric design.

I ANALYZE web, usability tests and user behavioral data.

Then I mix it all into a human-centered design black box and create actionable, results-oriented beautiful designs that enhance user experience and exceed business goals. 

In my day job I manage designers, researchers and engineers to “organize the world’s information to make it universally accessible and useful.”

At night I fight crime. In tights. With a dog name Wilbur. 

Other than that my life is pretty normal. 

Just kidding. Design is all I do. I just do this. And I love this. So I guess I’m cool with just this.
